News Of Bangladeshi Birds(Part-2)



Darters 
 
Darters are habitually alluded to as "snake-winged creatures" in light of their long thin neck, which gives a snake-like presence when they swim with their forms submerged. The guys have dark and dull tan plumage, an erectile peak on the scruff and a bigger bill than the female. The females have a much paler plumage particularly on the neck and underparts. The darters have totally webbed feet, and their legs are short and situated far once again on the figure. Their plumage is to a degree penetrable, such as that of cormorants, and they spread their wings to dry in the wake of jumping. There are 4 species worldwide and 1 species which happens in Bangladesh.

 

Bitterns, herons and egrets

The family Ardeidae holds the bitterns, herons and egrets. Herons and egrets are medium to substantial estimated wading fowls with long necks and legs. Bitterns have a tendency to be shorter necked and more watchful. Not at all like other as far back as anyone can remember necked fowls suck as storks, ibises and spoonbills, parts of Ardeidae fly with their necks withdrew. There are 61 species worldwide and 17 species which happen in Bangladesh. The family Anatidae incorporates the ducks and most duck-like waterfowl, for example, geese and swans. These are winged creatures that are changed for a sea-going presence with webbed feet, smoothed bills and plumes that are incredible at shedding water because of a sleek covering. There are 131 species worldwide and 15 species which happen in Bangladesh. (In Bangla, ducks are blandly called Hash, yet diverse species may have their names)

Storks are expansive, since a long time ago legged, as far back as anyone can remember necked, wading feathered creatures with long, forceful bills. Storks are quiet; bill-clacking is a paramount mode of stork correspondence at the home. Their homes could be vast and may be reused for a long time. Numerous species are transitory. There are 19 species worldwide and 9 species which happen in Bangladesh.

Flamingos are gregarious wading fowls, normally 3 to 5 feet high, found in both the Western and Eastern Hemispheres. They are more various in the last. Flamingos channel feast upon shellfish and green growth. Their strangely formed snouts are exceptionally acclimates to divide mud and residue from the nourishment they expend, and are interestingly utilized upside-down. There are 6 species worldwide and 1 species which happens in Bangladesh.

 

Osprey

The Pandionidae family holds stand out species, the Osprey. The Osprey is a medium vast raptor which is an authority fish-eater with a worldwide appropriation.

Accipitridae is a group of fowls of prey and incorporate falcons, hawks, kites, harriers and Old World vultures. These winged creatures have capable snared bills for tearing substance from their prey, solid legs, influential claws, and sharp visual perception. There are 233 species worldwide and 26 species which happen in Bangladesh.
